La región

You'll find complete information about hikes and nature walks in the region at the campground reception desk and the Office of Tourism. We'll be happy to make suggestions for your outings.
Exploring Moissac :We suggest you first get to know the enchanting city of Moissac, and we have several itineraries to help you discover it all - architecture tours, waterside walks, and more. You'll find all these routes in a special guide, made available when you check-in to the campground. .
Hiking around Moissac :There are many day-hike paths that crisscross the region and mountain bike paths along the Garonne canal, from which you can enjoy the traditional architecture of country farms and washhouses from centuries past. You can also trek along the trails of Chapelle d'Ax or the buis et fontaines ('boxwood and fountains') path.Detailed descriptions of these itineraries can be purchased at the Office of Tourism.
Sightseeing in the region :Of course, you'll be eager to see the bastides and other castelnaux ('new castles') of Lauzerte, Auvillar, or St. Antonin Nobel Val. Stroll the narrow streets of the surrounding villages, some of which are among 'The Most Beautiful Villages of France.'And because Moissac is so centrally-located in Southwest France, it's less than a day's drive to reach some of the most famous tourist sites in the region, including Albi, Toulouse, Cahors, Lourdes, and Carcassonne...
