Le Castex está situado dentro de un antiguo pueblo: Aignan, en el interior de la región del Gers (Midi-Pyrénées). La capital, Auch está a 50 km de Aignan. Aignan se considera también la capital del Armagnac. Camping abierto desde fin de Marzo hasta fin de Octubre. Alojamiento abierto todo el año.
