Château le Haget is one of the loveliest chateaux in the Gers. It lies within a stone's throw of Montesquiou, a little village in the heart of Gascony, the homeland of d'Artagnan. In the 'Tuscany of France' with its green and golden hills it seems as if time has been standing still. At the markets, farmers sell their vegetables, their poultry and their home made goat's cheese.
