How to get to us

On the A20 motorway you take exit 56 Rodez Figeac Decazeville.Follow the D802 (the former D2) in the direction of Figeac. After ± 25 km. on a roundabout left direction Assier. In Assier after the church right, and after 500m left both times direction Reyrevignes. In the village of Reyrevignes left direction Figeac, right after the church again left, after about 150 m you will seeDomaine de Vacances Papillon.Travelling with a caravan there is an alternative (the passage of Assier is rather narrow):On the A20 motorway you take exit 56 Rodez Figeac Decazeville.Follow the D802 (the former D2) in the direction of Figeac. After 25 km. on a roundabout right direction Livernon.Turn left at the little monument opposite of Police-station, after 100m. left again direction Reyrevignes (D2).In the village of Reyrevignes left direction Lissac et Mouret / Figeac, after the church the second possibility left, and you are at the entrance of the campsite of Domaine de Vacances Papillon. You could also take the old, more tourist road, more turns, more villages, less speed....and busy in summer on Saturdays. On the A20 take exit 54 to the N140 Brive - Figeac.About 1 km past the little village of le Bourg you take the (short!) exit right to the D653,after a few hundreds of meters you go left (D48).Passing Pech d'Issepts (watch it, there is a house standing somewhat on the road...) you get to Reyrevignes. In the village you go left (D2), right after the church again left, after about 150 m you will seeDomaine de Vacances Papillon.

Region

Quercy is the ancient name for what now is called the Lot department. The Quercy is a peaceful region with lots of space, light and colours. A wonderful scenery of untouched nature. Two large valleys, the valley of the Dordogne in the north and of the Lot in the south enclose the part that is called the 'Causse', a rough table land of lime-stone heavily eroded for ages, which is the habitat of sheep and juniper berry shrubs.River Lot Quercy is the land of stones, lots of stones: 'La pierre pousse' is an ancient expression; stones seem to grow here.Very characteristic in the landscape are the walls of stone stacked by human hands that intersect the landscape. The same stones were used to build the 'cazelles', small circular shepherd shelters of which quite a number have been preserved.
